Los Alcázares inaugurates a dog park with quality services for residents with pets
The Los Alcázares City Council has inaugurated this morning a new dog park in El Gonio that has more than 1500 square meters, thus becoming one of the largest in the Region of Murcia.
This facility opens to the public with numerous state-of-the-art services in this type of space, such as agility games, a trough so that the dogs can be continuously hydrated and specialized bins to dispose of dog excrement.
This park also has urban furniture to guarantee the comfort of pet owners, such as benches, shaded areas, double security doors, waste bins, etc.
The mayor of Animal Welfare and person in charge of this project, Antonio Luís López Campoy, has said that “a work demanded by residents for years has finally come true, and that they have also been part of its implementation, since who participated in the decision-making, such as its design and its location through the Animal Welfare table ”.
For his part, Mayor Mario Cervera has stated that “this park is the result of our commitment to neighbors who have new service needs, and is the first of the three that the City Council will carry out for the rest of the legislature, since our intention is open one per year ”.
