BERBER RAIDS ON THE ALCÁZARES NEXT TO THE MEDIEVAL MARKET ARRIVE AGAIN

Do you still don't know the festive events that take place in the Berber Incursions of the Mar Menor?

Well... Get ready because here, we'll tell you ALL about it!

During these days, the whole town of Los Alcázares goes back in time, on a journey to the XVI and XVII centuries, when the Barbary piracy covered our waters and streets. To recreate and commemorate this past, our Holy Week is distinguished by staging different theatrical activities with fencing exhibitions, juggling, dances, fire-throwers... taking us to imagine what it would have been like in those times.

In addition, during the week of festivities, it is accompanied by the memorable Medieval Market with more than 100 artisans and workshops of heraldic shields, perfumes, Arab tea, taverns, cheeses, traditional pastries, liqueurs, herbalist, bread oven, looms...; which, together with the Grand Parade of Barbary pirates, peasants, peasants, shepherds and fishermen on Saturday, will serve as animation and atmosphere on which these festivities are based.
